Tampa Comprehensive Plan Amendment TA/CPA 15-03 (West Riverfront)

The Planning Commission has received a request for a publicly initiated map amendment for an approximately 86.7 acre subject site consisting of numerous parcels located to the west of North Boulevard, north of Interstate 275, east of Rome Avenue and south of the Hillsborough River. The proposed map amendment seeks to change approximately 12.3 acres from Residential-35 (RES-35) to Community Mixed Use-35 (CMU-35). The remaining approximately 74.4 acres would be changed from the current designations of Residential-35 (RES-35), Public/Semi-Public (P/SP) and Recreation/Open Space (R/OS) to a Neighborhood Mixed Ues-35 (NMU-35) Future Land Use designation.

Separate applications, based on current public ownership status, have been filed. Each application represents a portion of the overall 97.5 acre subject site.
