October 2019 – Wade Reynolds, AICP | Senior Planner | 4 Years
Wade began his planning career working in Panama City, Florida and Greenwood Village, Colorado. He made his way back to Tampa, Florida where he has been a Senior Planner on the MPO team since 2015. He is also the staff coordinator for the MPO’s Bicycle and Pedestrian Advisory Committee. For Wade, that means helping to create safe avenues for cyclists and pedestrians throughout the county.
To further these efforts, Wade recently managed an MPO study analyzing intersections in Temple Terrace for golf cart crossings. The project aligned with his ongoing efforts on bicycle and pedestrian planning, “Creating networks that are safe for a low-speed vehicle can also improve safety for cyclists and pedestrians. The idea of traffic calming and activating the low-stress/low-speed network is one of the best ways to create safe spaces for non-motorists.”
In his free time, Wade enjoys fishing, cycling, and the many outdoor activities the Tampa area has to offer.
