March 2018 – The Coalition of Community Gardens – Tampa Bay will host the upcoming Grow Community Gardens – Tampa Bay Conference, for garden lovers, food equity / food justice supporters, urban agriculturalists of all types and the general public on:

Sponsored by The Sustany® Foundation and the MPO’s Garden Steps project, which seeks to connect neighborhoods to fresh food by expanding gardens and walk/bike connections, the event focuses on bringing together the accumulated wisdom of regional gardeners on all aspects of health, wellness, and sustainable living. Anyone interested in learning about healthier living and healthy choices through gardening is invited to attend.
There is no charge for the reception on Friday, April 6th, 6:30 to 8:00. All interested people are invited to meet the presenters. Light refreshments will be served.
Cost for the Saturday, April 7th, 9:00 to 3:00 conference is $10. This includes the key-note speech by Joseph W. Dorsey, Ph.D., USF Patel College of Global Sustainability, and lunch provided by Inside the Box Catering.
