The Planning Support Services Team supports the Agency and its mission by learning, mastering, and providing innovative technologies so that our staff and the public receive effective services and solutions.
The team works to create and analyze planning data, develop planning tools and innovate online resources (i.e. websites, mapping, interactive applications) for both staff and public participation throughout the planning process. Creates, designs, implements and maintains Geographic Information System (GIS) technologies, along with administrating the Agency’s computer network, VoIP, security, internet connectivity, email systems and their related hardware and software.
Lionel Fuentes, Planning Support Services Manager, Manages the Planning Support Services team, develops the Planning Commission’s and MPO’s technology and support plan and budget.
Cathy Welsh, GIS Project Manager, 35 years of cartographic, GIS and data analysis experience. Responsible for The Planning Commission’s Comprehensive Plan mapping development, procedures, scheduling and quality control. Coordinates procedures and products for multi-jurisdictional planning, analysis, tools and mapping projects.
Christopher English, Webmaster, Responsible for the design, administration, and function of all Agency websites and intranet, design of logos, graphics and templates, and agency-wide staff training and support.
Jason Krzyzanowski, Programmer Analyst, Develops desktop and web-based applications, administers the Planning Commission’s and MPO’s GIS software infrastructure and data processing systems.
Michael Rempfer, Database & Network Administrator, Administers the Planning Commission’s and MPO’s databases, develops custom databases, and manages system networks (i.e. VoIP, security, internet connectivity, email, hardware and software, etc.).
