Born and raised in Central Florida, she has lived in Temple Terrace since 2009 and has a daughter who attends a local public school. We welcome Councilmember Abel and thank outgoing Temple Terrace City Council Member James Chambers for his work with the River Board and wish him well in his other pursuits.
The River Board also elected Hillsborough County Commissioner Stacy White as Chair and Tampa City Councilmember Joe Citro as Vice Chair. River Board officers serve two-year terms.
The River Board’s Technical Advisory Council (TAC) also held their annual election of officers. Chair incumbent Dr. Rich Brown was elected to another year as Chair.
