TIP Amendment: I-4 Truck Parking Facility
The TPO Board will consider amending the Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) at their March 20th, 2024 meeting for the following project:
Currently, there is a critical need for additional truck parking along the I-4 corridor, as there are only 90 public truck parking spaces from Tampa to Daytona Beach. This project, which adds $5.3 million in construction, will allow for the construction of 120 spaces, six electric hookups to provide power for refrigerated trucks, road ramp improvements, and pedestrian infrastructure to access nearby commercial amenities.
