TPO’s Citizens Advisory Committee seeks new members

Ready to roll up your sleeves and steer the future of transportation in Hillsborough County? Join the TPO’s Citizens Advisory Committee – where your voice drives change! 

This committee is made up of citizen volunteers selected by TPO Board members, the Transportation Disadvantaged Coordinating Board, the Planning Commission, and several at-large seats representing our wonderfully diverse county. It’s a real mix of folks from all walks of life and corners of the map, and we’ve got some empty seats at the table!

That’s right, there are currently five at-large member vacancies on the CAC just waiting to be filled. There is also an opening to represent the Planning Commission on the CAC.If you’re a Hillsborough County resident with a passion for making a difference in your community, this is your chance to dive into the nitty-gritty of transportation planning and have a say in how things roll out in our neck of the woods. The CAC typically gets together on the first Wednesday of the month at 6 pm, and while the address is 601 E Kennedy Blvd, Tampa, 18th Floor, Tampa, Florida 33606, you’ve got options. You can join in person or hop on virtually; just know that we need an in-person quorum to keep things official.
