January 2011 Future Land Use Map Amendments

HC CPA 11-01 Rhodine Road, in the Vicnity of Balm Riverview Road
(Status: Withdrawn)

This is a privately initiated map amendment to the adopted Future Land Use Map. The application is proposing a land use designation change of 16.2 acres from Residential‐4 (RES‐4) to the Suburban Mixed Use‐6 (SMU‐6) plan designation. It is also located within the Urban Service Area. In addition, the property is located within the boundaries of the Southshore Areawide Systems Plan and Riverview Community Plan.

HC CPA 11-02 Bearss Avenue and Livingston Avenue
(Status: Adopted)

This is a privately initiated map amendment to the adopted Future Land Use Map. The application is proposing a land use designation change of 5.13 acres from Residential-6 (RES-6) to the Residential-20 (RES-20) plan designation. It is also located within Tampa Service Area of the Urban Service Area.

HC CPA 11-03 Update of the Northwest Area Community Plan
(Status: Adopted)

This is a publicly‐initiated text amendment to update the vision statement and strategies of the Northwest Area Community Plan in the Livable Communities Element.
The amendment includes administrative updates to the community plan boundary map
to match the community plan boundary with the Urban Service Area boundary. The
Northwest Area Community Plan boundary will also be revised to exclude the Citrus
Park Village Community Plan boundary which was adopted as part of an independent
community plan in 2003.

HC CPA 11-05 Scenic Corridors Update
(Status: Withdrawn)

This is a publicly‐initiated text amendment to the Future Land Use Element. The proposed text amendment updates Comprehensive Plan policies and definitions pertaining to scenic corridors. Proposed policies add new classifications to better correlate with the intent of the policies and establish a procedure for the nomination of scenic corridors. In addition, the policies recommend a Land Development Code amendment to implement the classification changes and improve the functionality of the current code requirements.

HC CPA 11-06 Scenic Corridors Update Future Land Use Map Change

This is a publicly‐initiated amendment to a map within the Future Land Use map series. The proposed plan amendment updates the map entitled “2015 Future of Hillsborough Unincorporated Hillsborough County Scenic Corridors” (Scenic Corridors) with a map entitled “Corridor Design Map.” An accompanying text amendment was submitted (Application CPA 11‐05) with this group of amendments.

HC CPA 11-07 Lutz Community Plan Update
(Status: Adopted)

This is a publicly-initiated text amendment to the Livable Communities Element. The proposed text amendment will update and add text in the Livable Communities Element that includes the vision statement, goals and strategies for the adopted Lutz Community Plan. The adopted community plan establishes a boundary for the area being affected by the amendment. The community’s Vision is graphically represented on the Lutz Community Concept Map, also included for adoption.

HC CPA 11-08 Greater Carrollwood-Northdale Communities Plan

This is a publicly initiated amendment to the Livable Communities Element to rescind the adopted Greater Carrollwood-Northdale Communities Plan boundary map and replace it with a revised boundary map.
